Transition...........eeeeeekkkkkkk

   As a Teacher in the great state of Florida, I was informed at the end of this past year that we would be working our way into the Common Core State Standards.  As a visual learner I began surfing for a tool to help me understand the transition and how best to ensure that my students would "not be left behind".  :-)
   The timeline below is helpful in understanding at what point the CCSS should be fully implemented in all grade levels. (Remember to arrow all the way to the right to see

   My plan for this blog is to compare and contrast the CCSS with our current Sunshine State Standards in order to re-organize my current resources as well as accumulate and create units and activities that correspond with both the "old" and the "new" as we make this conversion.
